Snake Blade Rig: from micro pintail to XXL rubber.
This system is not designed for strong vibrations and big noise like the classic chatterbait, but mainly for running stability, running behavior, inconspicuousness of the blade and fine vibrations. This bait system is particularly suitable for no-action soft lures and practically all active fishing methods.
The plate has three holes for hooking the Snaplock, which can be hooked in two positions. If you use the upper two of the three holes, you can pull in very slowly in calm to slow flowing water with full action of the lure and thus fish on the surface as well as at all depths.
If you hook the snap at the lower two holes near the tungsten weight, you can fish in the strongest current to the shallowest water depth. The bait goes compellingly to the bottom, does not turn, and behaves exactly like a baitfish in the current
Other advantages are:
- fewer hangers due to the plate top hooks.
- less weed on the hooks.
- no sinking in the mud when vertical fishing, because the plate behaves like a snowshoe and thus prevents sinking.
- no tangling in the fishing line when vertical fishing, because the plate provokes a kind of gliding flight and thus the bait does not plop vertically to the bottom, but sinks slightly at an angle.
